A boost in temperatures despite the lack of sunshine
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Calling all fair food lovers! The Washington County Fair Park is hosting "Eats and Treats" Tuesday, July 21 through Sunday, July 26.
All the best fair food from cotton candy and funnel cakes to corn dogs and lemonade will be available. Most festivals and fairs in our area have been canceled this summer, and if you're searching for a silver lining, this is it.
Those who are interested can drive in through Gate 7 and park your vehicle before walking to the food stands. The food stands will be spaced out. You will leave through Gate 8 with your food. There is no cost to go to the event, except for the food you purchase.
"We couldn't have the fair this year, but we have one of the best parts of the fair," Executive Director of the Washington County Fair Kellie Boone said.
At least six vendors will be at the fairgrounds from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
