Water main break in West Allis leads to school closure at Nathan Hale High School

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A water main break in the area of Nathan Hale High School in West Allis on Wednesday, Feb. 7 has led the West Allis - West Milwaukee School District to confirm to CBS 58 that school has been cancelled for the day at NHHS.

The school noted that the main break occurred near the tennis courts at NHHS. THey have outlined procedures for student dismissal this morning:

• Bus/Cab Riders - Buses/Cabs are enroute to Hale and students who ride a bus to school will be taken to their normal bus stop.
• Parent Pick Up - Parents are encouraged to pick up your students, please pick them up at Hale Cafeteria as soon as possible. Students unable to be picked up immediately should remain in the cafeteria where they will be safe and supervised.
• Student Walkers - Students who walk will be allowed to walk home as normal.
