Body recovered from Rock River in Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- We're told the body of a drowning victim was recovered from the Rock River in Jefferson around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
A search for the missing swimmer resumed in the morning after it was called off around 9 p.m. Tuesday night.
The Jefferson County medical examiner is responding to the scene.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A search resumed at 8 a.m. Wednesday morning for a person reported missing in the Rock River Tuesday.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, operations were suspended due to darkness at 9 p.m. Tuesday night.
Responders from Fort Atkinson, Janesville, JCEC, Johnson Creek, Lake Mills, Lakeside, MD-1, Rock County, Salvation Army, Waterloo, Western Lakes and Western Waukesha are at the scene.
The sheriff's office says they're utilizing boats from several agencies and special equipment including a robotic submersible from Green Bay and ARGO amphibious XTV/UTV from Cambridge

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A search is underway in the Rock River near Jefferson Tuesday, for reports of a possible missing swimmer.
The call came in around 3:30 p.m., according to the sheriff, triggering a large water rescue response, with more than a dozen agencies helping with divers, boats, and other rescue equipment.
We're told rescuers are searching for one person.
