Waterford boutique highlights gifts that give back this holiday season
WATERFORD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Vana Lyon is the owner of Rusty's Dry Goods and Main Street Mercantile in downtown Waterford. The businesses are a one-stop-shop for gifts for the men and women in your life.
"At both shops, we source mainly everything from small American businesses," said Lyon.
You can feel good about supporting a female, small business owner this holiday season. Plus, Lyon says she likes to work with businesses that are doing good in communities.
Here are some items at Rusty's and Main Street Mercantile that are giving back:
- The Hero Company's paracord bracelet helps veterans with PTSD get a service dog.
- GivePet treats give treats to dogs in shelters with every bag of treats purchased.
- Freedom Studios creates lotions and perfumes. The company employs people who've survived human trafficking.
You can order online to pick up at Rusty's Dry Goods and Main Street Mercantile ahead of the holidays.
The store will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day until Christmas.
