WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- It's been a sad and stressful few days in Waukesha, and on Wednesday, HAWS animal shelter offered their furry residents to people who need a little comfort.
You could bring something to read, a blanket, or anything that might help relieve anxiety.
"One thing we know about animals is that they sense our moods, they know when we need them. And it's one thing that we can do as a member of the community is to offer this kind of a service."
If you couldn't make it Wednesday, HAWS will offer their "fuzz therapy" again next Tuesday, Nov. 30 from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
