WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An arrest has been made in connection to an arson case in Waukesha Sunday evening, Nov. 16.

Authorities say Daniel Kovatovich is charged with one count of arson of property other than a building.

According to the criminal complaint, Kovatovich allegedly set fire to a St. Vincent de Paul donation box that was filled with clothing.

It happened right near Foxx View Lanes bowling alley in Waukesha.

Authorities say Kovatovich was drinking in the bowling alley before going outside and setting fire to the box.

The complaint says he later admitted to the act, saying, "I admit it. I did something stupid."

He appeared in Waukesha County Court Monday for his initial appearance, where bond was set at $10,000.

He's due back in court Dec. 2.
