Waukesha South forfeits game due to injuries

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An old problem has resurfaced for Waukesha South High School's football program.

The school has announced that its varsity team will forfeit Friday's game against Muskego because injuries have left them without enough players to compete. Last Oct., Waukesha South cancelled the remainder of its football season in October because of an overwhelming number of injuries.

Right now, the only game affected is the game on Friday, Sept. 22 against Muskego. The athletic director says the plan is to continue playing next week.
