We have a couple of seasons rolled into one forecast

Milwaukee (CBS 58)--What's wet today could be white tomorrow, especially later in the day.  Expect rain today, moderate at times, adding up to an inch in spots.

Highs will be near 50!  That's more than 15 degrees above normal. The winds will be whipping in from the southeast too. Eventually a cold front will clear the area into tomorrow morning, filtering in some colder air in time for the weekend.  Look for a changeover from rain to snow, especially by the middle of the afternoon into the evening.  Could be a slushy accumulation of an inch or so by the time this wraps up Friday night.

Meantime, the upcoming weekend looks quiet with highs in the 30s.  There's still some question as to what we're going to see New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Some computer models are hinting at a wintry mix, especially during the evening of New Year's Eve. Of course we're still fine tuning this forecast.  Keep checking back.
