"We just want him back home safe:" Family searching for answers after popular local DJ disappears
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A popular local DJ disappears, now missing for days.
His name is Humberto Suarez, but he works under the name “DJ Himzz.”
He was last seen last Friday,
You may have seen some flyers around town, as the 28-year-old has been missing for 6 days.
His family is devastated, begging for his safe return home.
"My family is devastated… we just want him back home safe."
Humberto Suarez is a well-known DJ in the community.
"Humberto is a wonderful person,” says his sister Betty Suarez. “He's a sweet, caring, loving hardworking responsible person. He's a family man, and he's loved by everyone who surrounds him."
His family says they can't imagine him leaving, or think of anyone who would want to harm him.
"No, never, this is not him at all,” said his sister. “This is out of his character. He's never done anything like this We're very concerned about him."
They're anxious and desperate, without a way to reach him.
"He doesn't have his phone with him or any electronics. The police found everything at his house.""His car is not at his house, his car is nowhere to be found. So we believe that he took his car."
They've done everything they can from speaking to his friends, checking jails and hospitals, and even tow lots for his car.
"If someone has seen him, please let us know,” said his father Hector Suarez. “We're waiting for him. Our hearts are broken, the days and nights are so long for us."
"We're desperate,” said Betty. “We don't know where to go, it's too much to carry. Humberto, if you're out there, please reach out to our family. Please, we're looking for you. We just want to make sure you're safe. Please come back home Humberto."
Suarez is a Hispanic male, 5’9” and approximately 165 pounds.
He might be driving a gray Toyota Corolla with Wisconsin license plates 542ZWD.
His family is pleading with anyone who might have any information that could lead to his whereabouts to please contact the Milwaukee Police Department.
