We haven't had much of a break when it comes to rain and Wednesday will be no different. We are waking up to a few showers and downpours Wednesday morning and still can't rule out some thunderstorms either. Those rain chances will stay with us through noon.
Here's a look at a radar image that will update with time:
We dry out for a few hours during the afternoon with some sunshine returning and highs reaching the upper 70s to around 80. Then another round of showers and storms is possible in the evening hours after 8 PM through about midnight.
Locally, there's no big strong to severe storm risk on Wednesday but with the mid-morning update most of the western part of Wisconsin and portions of Fond du Lac and Dodge County were added to the Level 1 Marginal Risk so a few isolated strong storms are possible.
Rain totals on Wednesday will depend on who sees the downpours and storms. Those that do could get up to a half inch of rain but those that just see showers get a tenth or two tenths of rain.
Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to track yet another round of rain.
