MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Wehr Nature Center will host its annual Cider Sunday fundraiser on Sunday, Oct. 5 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Jessica Del Toro, marketing and communications coordinator for Friends of Wehr, joined us on Tuesday, Sept. 30 to offer a preview.
The family-friendly celebration will feature cider pressing, live music, food vendors, apple treats and a raffle. Children’s activities include crafts, pumpkin bowling, face painting, a story stroll and a leaf hunt. Presentations with live animals are scheduled for 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Proceeds will support the center’s educational programming and land management.
Admission is $8 per person, free for children 2 and under. Wehr members receive free admission and additional benefits. Nonmembers may purchase tickets at the door or pre-register online.
