West Allis police chase ends in crash near 60th and Greenfield, 2 arrested

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two men were taken into custody after a police pursuit ended in a crash in West Allis. 

It happened just before 1 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12. 

According to West Allis police, an officer attempted to perform a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding. However, officials say the vehicle took off and a pursuit ensued. 

Near 60th and Greenfield, the fleeing driver attempted to pass a vehicle and caused a crash. 

The driver of the fleeing vehicle, a 25-year-old West Allis man, and his passenger, a 26-year-old West Allis man, were taken into custody.
