West Allis police renew call for information in 1995 killing of Terrie Engel

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The West Allis Police Department is again seeking the public’s help in solving the 1995 killing of Terrie Engel, whose death remains unsolved 30 years later.

On Halloween afternoon in 1995, firefighters responded to smoke coming from a second-floor unit at the Windsong Village Apartments on West Oklahoma Ave. Inside, they reportedly found 26-year-old Engel dead in her partially burned apartment. Evidence later showed she suffered neck wounds.

Police believe there are still people in the community who may have information about the case. Officials are urging anyone who noticed unusual behavior from someone around that time to contact investigators.
