West Bend man arrested for attempted break-in at Cigarette Outlet

West Bend, WIS. (CBS 58) -- A 19-year-old West Bend man has been arrested for Attempted Burglary, Possession of Burglarious Tools, and Criminal Damage to Property.

According to police, an employee at Cigarette Outlet on Washington Street arrived to work and found pry marks on the door. The employee called the police and investigating officers also found that the suspect cut wires in the back of the business.

Police were able to locate a backpack with tools and clothing hidden near the building. Investigators then determined that the 19-year-old man was the owner of the backpack. He was taken into custody.
