MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Organizers with "Painting Clucks for Bucks" hope a flock of folks will show up for the special fundraiser this Saturday at Escuela Verde Milwaukee on the south side. Proceeds raised will go to the "Autumn Farm Sanctuary" in Cedarburg, an animal rescue facliity we have proflied before on CBS 58 Sunday Morning. Everyone who attends will get breakfast, their own canvas, and paint supplies. You don't have to be a good painter either.
"Painting Clucks for Bucks" runs from 10:30 until 12:30 on Saturday. The cost is $30. You are asked to sign up online. Click here to do so. And by the way, "Special" the rooster was on hand during my live remotes Tuesday morning. He fell back (actually twice). But I'm happy to report there was no harm in the making of this video! Everyone is fine.
