(WAUWATOSA) - It's an event from the heart and for the heart. Next month, hundreds of runners and walkers will participate in an annual gathering to fund live-saving heart research at the Medical College of Wisconsin. In the last 24 years the Cullen Run/Walk has raised more than $500,000 for cardiac research.
Now, the fund-raiser in Wauwatosa held to honor the life of a Milwaukee alderman who died of a heart attack at age 40 is inspiring Whitefish Bay teenager Kelly Mueller to keep her father's memory alive.
Natalie Shepherd shared Kelly's story on CBS 58 Sunday Morning.
