MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 27, could be the night the Milwaukee Brewers bring the World Series title home. CBS 58’s Duaa Israr spoke with Brewers fans all around town about how they'll react if the Brewers win Game 4 over the Tampa Bay Rays. The number one answer: lots of tears.

There are some moments you spend your whole life waiting for. In Milwaukee, this could be one of them.

“We waited a long time,” said Sue Martin, Brewers fan.

For some fans, it started decades ago.

“I’ve been here a long time, Born and raised 414,” said Aszurdee Jackson, Brewers fan.

Whether it’s listening to games on the radio or watching from the living room couch.

“I’ve been waiting for this my whole life. I’ve been a diehard Brewers fan since I could remember,” said Peter Raciti, Brewers fan.

There have been years of hope and years of heartbreak

“Forty-four years. I was in sixth grade. I cried like a baby when Gorman Thomas took that swing, but last night was beautiful wasn’t it?” said one Brewers fan.

There have been so many Octobers when the dream had to wait another year, but this October, Milwaukee is allowed to imagine what comes next.

The Brewers are within reach of the moment this city has been dreaming about, and no one can sit still.

It’s a chance to make history.

“I’m definitely going to cry,” said Raciti.

A chance to give generations of fans a memory they can share.

“She’s definitely gonna be a Brewers fan,” said Raciti.

It’s a night Milwaukee has waited so long for.

“I was planning on going to game 5. But guess what, there’s not gonna be a game 5,” said one fan.

It’s the night the Brewers could bring it all home.

“You can’t write a better script,” said one fan.
