Wilmot High School student facing terrorist threat charge for school shooting threat

WILMOT, Wis. (CBS 58) – A 14-year-old girl is facing a terrorist threat charge after admitting to writing a threat on a bathroom wall at Wilmot High School in Kenosha County.

Authorities say the note reading “school shooting tomorrow” was found around 2:10 p.m. on Tuesday. After an investigation, authorities learned the note had been written the same day. It was then decided school would be open on Wednesday with additional sheriff’s deputies.

Law enforcement and school officials say they take all threats or potential threats very seriously.
