MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--They say springtime is a transition time of the year. I can believe it looking at this forecast. We have everything happening. In just one day in fact. On Friday, we'll have daytime temperatures either side of 50 along with very gusty winds. Gusts could exceed 45 mph during the afternoon hours. This is when a Wind Advisory is in place for everyone. The winds will subside behind an Arctic front later this evening as temps really fall off considerably, into the 20s. When we wake up Saturday morning, look for readings to be near 20 with subzero wind chills. Highs on Saturday will stay in the 20s. (Normal high should be close to 40.) Look for a little relief on Sunday with numbers above freezing then we get into the 40s for most of the coming week.

As far as precipitation goes, a weak system could bring us a bit of wintry mix on Monday followed by rainy skies for Tuesday and then perhaps a mix to all snow on Wednesday. Obviously, we're still fine-tuning this forecast.
