MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was sold in Milwaukee for the Saturday, Aug. 9 drawing, Wisconsin Lottery officials noted on Monday, Aug. 11.

The ticket was purchased at Hometown Gas on 76th St., and matched four of five numbers plus the Powerball. The winning numbers were 7, 14, 23, 24 and 60, with a Powerball of 14.

Nationwide, 28 tickets won $50,000 prizes in Saturday’s drawing. In Wisconsin, there were 9,939 winners, with prizes ranging from $4 to $50,000, according to officials.

With no jackpot winner, the estimated prize for Monday night’s drawing is $501 million. Powerball drawings are held Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 9:59 p.m., with tickets sold until 9 p.m.
