The mild air from the last few days is gone. A dry cold front brough in some clouds Monday night but no rain or snow. That front will drop highs from the 50s Saturday, Sunday and Monday down into the 30s for Tuesday then 20s on Wednesday with another cold front Wednesday dropping temps even further into the teens for highs on Thursday.
The wind will be reasonable on Tuesday but shifting to the NW bringing in the colder air. That NW wind continues on Wednesday and the wind speed will pick up. After the front moves in during the early afternoon the wind gusts will pick up with wind gusts possible to 35 mph Wednesday night. The breeze will remain on Thursday.
The combination of chilly temps and wind will make for some pretty cold wind chills. Feels like temps will stay in the 20s most of Tuesday then drop into the teens Wednesday morning but by Wednesday afternoon wind chills drop into the single digits. Then they continue to drop into the teens to around -20 Thursday morning and stay below-zero all day long Thursday.
The cold front that arrives Wednesday could bring a little snow as well. Some light snow showers will be possible from late morning through early afternoon Wednesday. That snow could drop a quick dusting or a few tenths of an inch in some communities.
