A fairly tricky forecast setting up for Wednesday. A change in the temperature at the surface could really mean the difference between icing and rain.
A winter weather advisory has been issued for the entire area for Wednesday. Take a look at the different start and end times above. Bottom line the whole area will be impacted by winter weather throughout the day on Wednesday.

Snow will arrive between 3 am and 6 am across southeastern Wisconsin. Snow for the morning commute will likely cause issues for driving. A couple of inches of snow is possible throughout the morning.

Most areas will pick up between 2" to 3" of snow.
As the system lifts, the snow will likely change to a mix of snow and freezing rain during the early afternoon. Surface temperatures will hover around 32, so light icing will occur. Up to 0.10" of ice is possible, especially north of Milwaukee.
The late afternoon and evening commute could be impacted. The precipitation should move out by 6 pm,.
