MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Wisconsin Republican leaders responded to Vice President Kamala Harris' visit with a Zoom call Thursday, Oct. 17.
Former Gov. Scott Walker started it off by saying, "Life was better in Wisconsin when Donald Trump was president."
"I hope, when Vice President Harris is at the business class at UWM today, they'll teach a thing or two about how high prices have gone up since she and Joe Biden have gotten into office.
The Biden-Harris economic record was a popular target of the Republicans, but so was the situation along America's southern border.
Congressman Bryan Steil pointed to Vice President Harris' interview on Fox News yesterday.
"The vice president refused to really answer the tough questions that were presented about what we need to do and as we all know, this administration has the ability today to secure the US-Mexico border if they so choose," said Rep. Steil.
Another GOP congressman, Derrick Van Orden, said that Vice President Harris in her role as border czar, is directly responsible for violent crimes committed by illegal immigrants.
