MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Always a great day in Phoenix, Arizona when Aurora Health Care, along with the Brewers, team up to help some kids with health challenges -- including 13-year-old Andersen Kerls of Ixonia, Wisconsin.

"So, what was today like for you, can you even describe it?" CBS 58's Lance Allan asked.

"Not really. I mean, it’s crazy," Andersen Kerls says. "I mean, meeting the players is crazy in itself. In general."

"So, who is your favorite?"

"William Contreras, easily," Kerls says.

"What did you do when you first saw him and took a picture with him?"

"I did his celly in the playoffs, with the phone and down. He loved that one."

"I think you’ve smiled during this whole interview."

"Yeah," Kerls says.

"Pretty good day, isn’t it?"

"Uh huh," says Kerls.

“It fills up my bucket,” Andersen’s mom, Tamara Kerls, says. “The experiences that we couldn’t ever give for him. And it’s just really nice to see him smiling.”

“It’s just crazy. It really is fun watching them do what they wanna do,” Dan Kerls says. “Being able to be out here with their heroes. Their favorite players.”

”This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these kids to really be able to forget about their health problems,” Medical Director of Aurora Children’s Health Dr. Kevin Dahlman says. “To enjoy life and live fully. Really living out their dreams, right? Meeting the players that they’ve always looked up to. And we are so grateful, as the official health care partner of the Brewers, to be able to see the Brewers really connect.”

So neat to see. And we even witnessed Ryan Braun inviting the family members out on the field as well. To share the moments of fun.
