MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Facebook group, 'Wisconsin Vaccine Hunters and Angels’, is working to help people find COVID-19 vaccination appointments across the state.
Bob Orech, who founded the group, spoke with CBS 58 about the effort. He shared advice and information.
"Right now, especially in the Milwaukee area, the southeast area, it's CVS, Walmart and the Hayat Pharmacy," Orech said about available appointments on Monday morning.
He added the best tip he can give people is to be patient and create their registration before trying to find an appointment.
"That way once you log in on the app or internet page, you can easily sign up and get that appointment," he said.
Orech also said people should scroll down and not pick the first appointment they see, because it may get taken as many others are clicking on the same time slot.
The group now has nearly 12,000 members and helps find appointments around the state.
