MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Some Wisconsin veterans got to shoot hoops with some Bucks players on Thursday, Nov. 14.
It's all part of Hoops for Troops week presented by We Energies.
Veterans and current service members in the community had the opportunity to interact with Bucks players and staff.
The opportunity meant a lot to everyone who attended.
"So getting a chance to get out here and see the Milwaukee Bucks shooting around on the court and letting us be represented for Veterans Day and Veterans Day weekend is really humbling and an honor," said U.S. Army Lt. Col. Collin K. Keenan. "I'm ready to see this team win a championship this year, I'm calling it today, so you know, I'm being first to put it out there."
Hoops for Troops week culminates with Thursday night's Bucks game against the Bulls. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.
