Youth ice fishing clinics to be held at Milwaukee County Park locations

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is encouraging families to ice fish this winter in Milwaukee.

Five youth ice fishing clinics will be held in our area next month.

Children will learn ice fishing safety, knot tying techniques, and more.

Fishing equipment will be available to borrow.

The clinics will begin every hour, starting at 9:00 a.m. on Feb. 17 at five different Milwaukee County Park locations.

The clinics are free and do not require pre-registration.
