BEAVER DAM, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The storm knocked down the iconic Culver's Barn in Beaver Dam Wednesday afternoon, June 10.
The Blue Barn is hard to miss off of Highway 151, it turned blue for Culver's "Thank you Farmers Project" a few years ago.
But its history goes back much further.
"There was a tornado that hit this barn in April. and it tore one side down. and then today with the 85mph winds or what they said we had. took the rest of it down and that was bad," Beaver Dam resident Michael Zimmerman said.
According to our sister station in Wausau, the barn was supposed to get repainted next month.
The owner hops the barn will get rebuilt.
