Update as of 12 PM Sunday:

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — Southeast Wisconsin is now under an Enhanced Risk (Level 3 of 5) for severe weather late Sunday night through the overnight hours.

Large hail and damaging winds appear to be the primary threats, although a brief tornado cannot be ruled out. Additional storms could develop Monday afternoon as intense heat and humidity remain in place.

A Heat Advisory also remains in effect until 9 p.m. Sunday and could be extended into Monday.

Make sure you have multiple ways to receive weather alerts, especially with the potential for overnight severe storms.

While these storms could produce a few inches of much-needed rain, they also carry the risk of dangerous severe weather.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Nature's furnace will be on full blast the next few days along with storm chances, especially late Sunday night through at least the first part of Monday. We have a Heat Advisory in place for most counties from noon Sunday until 9 PM in the evening. It'll feel like 100 degrees or higher many of these hours. Please stay hydrated and in a cool place with A/C. There's also a Slight Risk for severe weather later Sunday into Monday. The biggest threats will be hail and wind. One more day in the low 90s on Monday before slightly cooler, drier air works into the area. Most of the week will be dry, but there will be a slight chance for storms by Friday and Saturday. Doesn't look all day though.
