WALWORTH COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash along County Road A in the Town of Sugar Creek, east of McCabe Rd. Tuesday, Dec. 16. 

Emergency personnel found two vehicles involved in the crash and three people injured. 

Authorities determined that a vehicle driven by a 30-year-old Illinois man was traveling west on County Road A, when it crossed the centerline and crashed into a vehicle being driven by a 68-year-old woman from the Town of Lyons with a 74-year-old woman passenger from Elkhorn. 

Both drivers were transported by helicopter while the 74-year-old passenger was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital. 

The 68-year-old woman later died from her injuries at the hospital. 

Names are being withheld until family is notified. 

The Walworth County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
