MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a deadly crash that took place Sunday, June 9 at around 9:50 p.m. near 91st and Appleton Ave. 

Officials say a 21-year-old was driving east on Appleton Ave. at a high rate of speed, lost control of the car, struck a pole and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three other passengers in the vehicle were taken to a local hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
