65-year-old dead after double shooting at Sherman Park

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A demographic report from the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's office says that the victim of the Saturday shooting in Sherman Park is 65-year-old Gary Grose of Milwaukee.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a double shooting that happened on Saturday, June 15.

According to the sheriff's department, it happened around 5:41 p.m., at Sherman Park, near the playground.

One victim is deceased. According to the medical examiner's office, the deceased victim is an adult man.

The second victim sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Investigators continue to seek unknown suspects.

The sheriff's department said the motive may have been retaliation for a fight that preceded the shootings by several minutes
