1 injured during West Allis fireworks show

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- West Allis police say a person was injured during the West Allis fireworks show July 4. 

According to the event organizer, the incident occurred during the grand finale. 

The organizer said the individual is one of the people who was working behind the scenes of the show.

They were reportedly hit by fireworks and taken to Froedtert hospital with unknown injuries.

Event officials say the individual is expected to be okay.
