$1 million winning Powerball ticket sold in Cudahy

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Ahead of Wednesday's Powerball drawing that could net a $700 million grand prize, it is important to note overlook a small prize that was won in Southeast Wisconsin last week.

A $1 million Powerball ticket was sold at the Citgo on 2400 E. College Ave. in Cudahy for the Monday, Oct. 17 drawing.

Citgo will receive $20,000 as a retail incentive for selling the winning ticket.

This was not the first winning Powerball ticket to be sold in Wisconsin this month, as another $1 million prize was sold at Kwik Trip in Mauston for the Oct. 1 drawing. During the 2022 calendar year, four $1 million Powerball tickets have been sold in Wisconsin.

Those interested in taking a stab at the Wednesday, Oct. 26 drawing should know that tickets must be purchased before 9:00 p.m. to be included in that day's drawing.
