1 person found dead in Milwaukee house fire near 8th and Capitol

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department says one person is dead following a late-night house fire in Milwaukee on Sat., April 25.
Officials say the call came in at around 10:00 p.m., for a smoke assignment and person inside a residence near 8th and Capitol Drive.
Crews searched the 2 1/2-story building and found the victim, who they say was dead.
There were no other injuries reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
