MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An 11-year-old is in custody after allegedly stabbing a 15-year-old during an argument Monday night, Aug. 10.

Milwaukee Police are investigating the stabbing which they say happened in the area of Port Washington and Vienna avenues at around 8:22 p.m.

The 15-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated.

The circumstances that led up to the stabbing are still being investigated.

The 11-year-old suspect was taken into custody. Police say charges will be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
