17-year-old from Milwaukee charged with stealing SUV assigned to Trump team

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 17-year-old is charged with stealing and damaging an SUV that was assigned to a member of Donald Trump's campaign advance team.
Charles Lucas faces a felony car theft charge.
According to the criminal complaint, Lucas is accused of breaking into a hotel car valet room on Saturday, July 13, stealing a key, taking off in a Chevy Tahoe and driving it through a parking structure gate.
Police used GPS to track the stolen vehicle and they arrested Lucas several miles from the site of the theft.
Lucas' cash bond was set at $2,000. He's due in court for a preliminary hearing on July 23.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating an auto theft that happened on Saturday, July 13.
It happened around 4:12 a.m., near Wisconsin and Milwaukee. Police say the suspect forced entry into the valet key box and stole a vehicle with keys.
At around 8 a.m., the vehicle was located near Brown Deer and 61st, in Brown Deer. According to Milwaukee police, the 17-year-old was arrested, and criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
