2 best friends launch mobile coffee shop in Hubertus
WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- On Monday, Oct. 9, the owners of Lavender and Honey stopped by CBS 58 for our weekly food truck feature. Lavender and Honey is a mobile coffee shop that you'll find parked in front of Bilda’s Friess Lake Pub most days.
The doors opened nearly two months ago. Just in time for autumn drinks and everything pumpkin spice. They also have a full bar of lattes, Matcha teas and Chai teas.
"The Pumpkin Chai has been very popular this season," said Becky Lorenz.
Lorenz, along with her friend from church, Amy Shimon, are the owners and operators of Lavender and Honey.
"We wanted it to be something that when people step up to our trailer that they feel a part of it and welcomed," said Lorenz.
They started renovating an old trailer over a year ago, with the help of their husbands-- a journey you may have followed on Instagram.
"It was a full functioning 1982 camper that the previous owners still were camping out of when they sold it to us," said Lorenz. "So, we gutted the entire thing and transformed it into what you see."
It's now a cozy coffee trailer. You can also book Lavender and Honey for private events.
