2 children struck by SUV outside Golden Carrol

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two children were taken to the hospital after a driver hit them outside a crowded restaurant in Waukesha. 

It happened a little after 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon, April 5. 

Waukesha police say they responded to the Golden Carrol on Arcadian Avenue. 

The restaurant was serving an Easter Brunch. 

Police say two children, ages 13 and three, were struck by an SUV. 

Police add the kids' injuries were non-life-threatening and the driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
