MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Two young children are seriously hurt after a driver lost control and collided with a pole near 91st and Appleton.
It happened around 2:20 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30.
Milwaukee police say speed is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
The driver, a 29-year-old woman, suffered non-fatal injuries and was arrested. Her two occupants, a 3-year-old and 9-year-old were taken to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The 3-year-old is in critical condition.
Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
