MILWAUKEE, (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating the death of a 20-year-old male after being in custody at District 5 on Wednesday, Feb. 23.
Police say they made a traffic stop near 23rd and Capitol. The 20-year-old driver had a warrant for his arrest and police located suspected narcotics in the vehicle.
He was taken into custody and brought to District 5. At 5:53 p.m., police say he needed medical attention.
Lifesaving measures were given but the individual was pronounced dead.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as 20-year-old Keishon Thomas.
Three officers have been placed on administrative duty for this case.
This investigation is ongoing.
