2024 NARI Milwaukee Spring Home Improvement Show kicks off Friday
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The 2024 NARI Milwaukee Spring Home Improvement Show kicks off this Friday at the Wisconsin State Fair Park Expo Center.
"Coming to the show is a great way to see some of the new products, the new materials, some of the new design ideas and ways of arranging a kitchen, developing or laying out a bathroom," said Monica Baer, a representative for NARI Milwaukee.
Baer said it's all about establishing relationships first and then following up for a deeper dive.
"If you have a remodeling idea in mind, it's really good to have a couple of questions in your mind that you can go to each of the exhibitors and talk to them about, kind of, run through, things, take some notes," she added.
Christi Pryor is the marketing manager at Callen. She told CBS 58 News that the company partnered up with NARI Milwaukee when it established back in 1986, and they've helped countless families elevate their space.
"We've been participating in the show for as long as the show has been going on," Pryor said.
Whether it's upgrading kitchen appliances or adding new cabinets, there really is something for everyone.
"Maybe the husband is more technical and wants, like, the energy efficiency information, right? And the wife just really wants it to be functional, look beautiful and then we're going to like look at new homeowners where they really don't know where to start," Pryor said.
Roughly 150 home improvement and remodeling experts will be participating.
"There's educational seminars that happen, so you can kind of sit down and just have a one-on-one education with a presenter, gardening, landscaping, you know, trends in painting," Pryor added.
Tickets cost $10 online, $12 at the door. Adults ages 60 and plus are $10 at the door or online. Special promotions include kids: ages 17 and under are free of charge, and active military, veterans, first responders and medical personnel also free with ID.
The event runs from Friday, Feb. 16 from 10 a.m.- 8 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 17 from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 18 from 10 a.m. -5 p.m.
