WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin State Fair is just seven days away. The experience of going to the fair includes the dairy barn, the giant slide and of course trying the new foods.
That's why the Sporkies competition was created over a decade ago. It gives food vendors some bragging rights and it helps people find some of the crazy, tasty creations at the fair.
This year there are eight finalists. Some of the trends include Dubai chocolate, Mexican street corn and lots of brats, from the blueberry breakfast brat to the brat Rangoon.
For the third year, the fair is also hosting the Drinkies. There are four Drinkies finalists. There's also a theme with the names of some finalists: music. Rock and Roll Tavern Beer Garden will have the purple rain refresher. Badger Bites is competing with the hunk-a-hunk donut.
Here is a full list of the 2025 Sporkies and Drinkies finalists. The competition is Tuesday, July 29.
