3 Racine men arrested on drug charges told police they were reenacting the movie 'Belly'

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS) -- Three men were arrested on drug charges in Mount Pleasant Thursday evening.

Mount Pleasant Police were called to the 2200 block of Clark Street after someone called 911 to report seeing two men wearing masks inside of a jeep. One was allegedly holding a gun.

Officers located the vehicle shortly thereafter, and initiated a traffic stop. The investigation determined that the firearm was a replica type BB gun.

In addition, a mask, money, and marijuana were also located.

The men involved told officers that they were recording a reenactment of the movie “Belly” which glorifies drug dealing and robberies, police say.

The men are facing charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver THC and Disorderly Conduct.
