2 dead, 2 hurt following single-vehicle crash in New Berlin
NEW BERLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two people are dead and two others are hurt following a crash that happened in New Berlin Sunday night, July 28.
According to police, officers from Muskego were conducting an investigation involving the vehicle due to suspicious behavior in the vicinity of Idle Isle Park.
The driver sped northbound on Martin Drive, according to police, and officers later found the vehicle crashed near the intersection of W.
National Avenue and S. Martin Road.
One female occupant was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other females were transported to Froedtert, where one later succumbed to her injuries.
The two deceased victims were identified as a 19-year-old woman from East Troy, who was the driver, and a 17-year-old female passenger from Greenfield.
Authorities identified the surviving victims as a 16-year-old girl from Milwaukee, and a 17-year-old girl from East Troy. They are both in critical condition.
The Wisconsin State Patrol assisted with the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
