CALEDONIA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police say a 31-year-old Racine man is dead after a crash in the Village of Caledonia Tuesday, Dec. 23.

First responders were called to Northwestern Avenue and Carol Road just before 10:30 p.m. and found the man dead at the scene. 

According to a preliminary investigation, the victim was driving west on Northwestern Avenue when he collided with the back of a slow-moving semi cab operating without a trailer. 

Police say the semi driver, a 41-year-old Illinois resident, is cooperating with the investigation.
