33rd annual Fright Fest returns to Six Flags with 3 new haunted houses
GURNEE, Ill. (CBS 58) -- Fright Fest is a favorite among horror lovers and thrill seekers. For the 33rd year, you can expect a fright as you walk through Six Flags Great America this October.
"We have five haunted houses, three of them are all new this year based on horror franchises — Stranger things, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Saw 20th anniversary," said Rachel Kendziora, communications Specialist for Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois.
They also have nine scare zones throughout the park. Kendziora says don't expect to leave without screaming at least once.
"Wherever you’re walking you’ll be able to experience a little bit of a different kind of scare," she said.
