5 injured in hit-and-run crash near Sherman and Hope, police seek driver
CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a crash that injured five people Tuesday, Feb. 17.
Officials say it happened around 2:44 p.m. when a vehicle ran a red light at Sherman Boulevard and Hope, colliding with a second vehicle traveling eastbound on Hope Avenue.
The crash caused the second vehicle to roll, according to police, and the striking vehicle fled the scene.
The 68-year-old driver and four passengers of the vehicle hit, a 48-year-old, 20-year-old, 18-year-old and 12-year-old, were taken to area hospitals for treatment of non-fatal injuries.
