54th annual Greek Fest in full swing at State Fair Park
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- One of Milwaukee's most beloved church festivals is back at State Fair Park.
Greek Fest returns for its 54th year. The festival celebrates the area's Greek community.
You can find authentic cuisine, traditional Greek music, dance performances, and carnival rides.
The festival is free to get into, and any proceeds raised benefit the community.
"I think it's just become a Milwaukee landmark and a well known festival," said Father John Ketchum of Annunciation Church. "We were just voted the best church festival in the Milwaukee area and so people just love to come and enjoy the Greek food, the ethnic food and the fellowship and the fun."
The festival is put on by Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
It's open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
