MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) – A 55-year-old was shot near N. Humboldt Blvd. and E. Wright St. just before 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 16.
According to Milwaukee police, a 55-year-old was shot at the scene but refused medical attention. Police said the shooting was not deadly and the circumstances leading up to it are under investigation
The shooting happened in a residential area near Riverwest, with a bar and convenience store nearby
“This is a great place to hang out, it was just an unfortunate incident that happened here,” said Jacob Otten, who lives in Riverwest. “Live music, great people, good food all the time. This is a great place to hang out, there’s no reason for any of this to happen here in Riverwest.”
